Port de Valldemossa
With the place "Valldemossa" really brings everyone Majorca holidaymakers the first French composer Frederic Chopin in combination, who spent here in the hermitage and his famous literary Winter on Majorca. But Valldemossa Valldemossa is much more than that is the mountains, bays, dense forests and a small harbor. The "Port de Valldemossa" every year is always an attraction for Mallorca friends - even for those who come by boat.
The little "sailor port" is a really beautiful scenery nestled in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains. Especially small boats are guests here. Not far away is the "Port of Canonge", surrounded by red cliffs and dense forests. In color, this rocky landscape is a feast for the eyes to the west of Mallorca. Locals here still go for fishing on the azure Mediterranean.
The area around Valldemossa's a good starting point to explore the other beautiful places in the west island. The artists' village of Deia on the "right", the village Banyalbufar on the "left" side, from there to the port of Andratx - the southwest corner of Mallorca is well worth a trip by boat.
